We all know Andy Bell who founded Ride (one of my favourite bands ever with 6 Number Ones in the chart between 1990 and 1994) alongside his work in Oasis, Hurricane #1 and Beady Eye. He released his solo album ‘The View From Halfway Down’ in October and now the best song from it gets released as a single. NEW 29. THE ELECTRIC SOFT PARADE - Left Behind 10th hit. 20 years after they first made the chart with ‘Empty At The End’ the Brighton band still sounds as great as ever. They released the album ‘Stages’ last year that somehow went unnoticed by me. Never too late to enjoy this great single from it! NEW 30. WILLIAM DOYLE - Nothing At All 3rd hit. Still at #7 with ‘And Everything Changed (But I Feel Alright)’ here comes the Bournemouth artist new single taken from his forthcoming album ‘Great Spans of Muddy Time’. NEW 31. CHRISTIAN COHLE - Holy Trouble Debut hit. After a handful of singles, Irish artist Christian Coyle is releasing his debut album ‘Holy Trouble’ now with this new single and best song to date. NEW 32. ESCUELAS PIAS - Lenguas Muertas Debut hit. Duo from Sevilla (Spain) regular visitors to our Playlists with all of their singles. They finally make the Top40 with this new single taken from the EP ‘Plantas Carnívoras’. NEW 33. COMMUNIONS - Bird of Passage 7th hit. Copenhagen duo regular visitors to the chart. They reached Number One in 2015 with 'Forget It's A Dream'. This is their latest single. NEW 34. FAWNING - Uptight (Her Eyes) 2nd hit. Dream pop trio from California who made the chart last month with ‘Wait’. This is another of the singles from their new album ‘Illusions Of Control’ NEW 35. VIVII - One Day Debut hit. This Swedish Dreampop trio came close to making the Top40 last year with ‘Summer of 99’. They now get it with this brand new and best to date single. NEW 36. ALEXANDERPLATZ - Un Tal Vez Rotundo 4th hit. Alejandro Martínez aka Alexanderplatz has now released his second solo album ‘Parques Nacionales Españoles’ including this track. NEW 37. LIMON LIMON - Neon Lights In The Rain Debut hit. Indie duo based in Los Angeles with several singles released in later months. This is my favourite of them. NEW 38. LUMER - The Sheets Post-punk 4-piece band based in Yorkshire, UK. This single is taken from their new EP 'Dissappearing Act'. NEW 39. BIG MOTHER GIG - The Underdog Debut hit. LA based band fronted by Richard Jankovich. They have a new album ‘Gusto’ out in April including this single and best song to date which features Leah Wellbaum from Slothrust. NEW 40.
