NEW 24. THE FLAMING LIPS - We Only Have Tomorrow (Demo Version)
5th hit. This is a version of Wayne Coyne's contribution to ‘SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical’
and it’s one of his best songs in several years. Reminds me of
The Postal Service.
25. (16) JENNY HVAL - Spells
26. (24) ELECTRIC FLOOR - I Made It Up
27. (25) SNOW PATROL - Empress
NEW 28. THE VRYLL SOCIETY - Light At The Edge Of The World
2nd hit. You may remember this 5-piece Liverpool band from their last year’s hit ‘Shadow Of A Wave’
which reached #13. This is their new single taken from their debut LP ‘Course Of The Satellite’.
29. (30) WILD NOTHING - Letting Go
30. (34) FATHER JOHN MISTY - Please Don't Die
31. (37) HALO MAUD - Wherever

NEW 33. DMA’S - Emily Whyte
5th hit. Australian band regular visitors to the chart since 2014 with Top10 hits as ‘Dawning’ or ‘In
The Ait’. This song is taken from their great album 'For Now'.
NEW 34. THE INNOCENCE MISSION - Green Bus
3rd hit. Great story here: This Lancaster, Pensilvania folk trio first hit the chart in 1992 with ‘And
Hiding Away’ (#16). Their next hit ‘One For Sorrow, Two For Joy’ (#26) came 12 years after in 2004
and their third hit comes 14 years after the second.
This single is taken from their new album’Sun On The Square’. Hopefully their fourth hit will come in
a near future.
NEW 35. BASEMENT REVOLVER - Baby
3rd hit. You may remember this trio from Hamilton, Ontario from their Number One ‘Bread & Wine’
earlier this year. This is their new single from their debut album 'Heavy Eyes' out in August.
NEW 36. THE CHILLS - Complex
3rd hit. New Zealand’s band made the chart in 1990 with ‘Heavenly Pop Hit’ (#12) and 1992 with ‘The
Male Monster From The Id’ (#33). So they officially break all the records with a gap of 26 years
between hits. This new single is taken from the forthcoming album ‘Snow Bound’.
NEW 37. MOGWAI - We’re Not Done (End Title)
2nd hit. This is one of the two songs the Scottish band have written for the soundtrack to the film
‘KIN’.
NEW 38. GAZ COOMBES - Wounded Egos
Debut hit. It’s the first time Daz Coombes reaches the chart with any of his solo material after
Supergrass split. This new single is taken from his album ‘World’s Strongest Man’.
NEW 39. MAXIMO PARK - North By North East
8th hit. The Newcastle band have written this song for the Great Exhibition of the North featuring the
UK's largest water sculpture in their hometown.
NEW 40. WILLIAM DOYLE - Millersdale
Debut hit. He’s been releasing great music as
East India Youth for the last years. Under that name
he got 4 hits including the Number One ‘Dripping Down’ in 2014. This is his first single as William
Doyle.
